FRIDAY AT 5PM: VILLAGE IDIOT REUNION!

https://www.facebook.com/events/739414359515434/

It’s that time again! The kind-of annual Village Idiot Reunion! It may have closed its doors in 2004, but we are getting the Regulars together again. We will gather at Doc Holliday’s, the only remaining country-music-playing honky tonk left in Manhattan. Cheap beer and whiskey all night long!

Our hostess is Joanna (and Christina) who’s been behind the bar for two decades. The party begins at 5pm and continues all night. Spread the word to your friends and all former customers and bartenders from the Idiot. The party is Friday, August 28!

FOLLOWING "THE VILLAGE IDIOT REUNION PARTY" is Jenna and Catherine's LAST DUO shift together. Jenna is moving over to DBA one of our owner's other bars in the hood, and Catherine shall depart, journeying to other horizons. Please come celebrate and congratulate and bid adieu...They will both be in the hood though, so I'm sure it's not goodbye....8pm 'til close this Friday!

DOC HOLLIDAY'S REGULAR OF THE WEEK: GINO

Digging the juke box.  I was like wow some good music on there

When my friend first opened cheapshots, I stumbled upon doc’s I would say about 10 years ago. Been coming ever since

4. Fave jukebox song:

Rave on buddy holly.  How can you not like buddy holly

 5. Favorite Doc's memory:

A few Saturdays ago  meeting with bartender buddies tiffany Caitlyn drinkin' and just having a good time a few friends stopped by too.  Fun day drinking

Great music; cool people. Always a nice mixed crowd, it’s a real nyc bar with some good country and oldies. And the bartenders rock!
